Seattle's Snowpocalypse

For the past week or so Seattle has been battling some fun weather conditions. It all started last Saturday when we saw the first couple inches. The foothills of Seattle (where most of the Seattle ‘stoners live) have received over 30 inches of snow in the past 5 days, which is more than two total winters worth for us. Only a few brave souls made it into the office as most of us were snowed in. Wednesday night began a new chapter of the storm as an Ice Storm rolled in. From the Ice Storm some of us have gotten internet outages and power outages because of the falling trees that can’t take the weight of the ice. There are currently 260,000 people without power (and a few ‘stoners) but most people won’t see their power on until next week which could be a week without power for some. Puget Sound Energy, our energy company, even pulled in people from Oregon and Idaho to help get power back on. On the bright side we all made it into the office today to pick up our plane tickets so we can head off to warmer weather in Vegas to visit you all! :)
